My boyhood home was right up the street at 1877-38th Avenue. At the loc in photo, you could transfer to # 1 car line, or Transbay "A"-Line.

Thanks so very very much for this one! I've been hoping for one at the EOL. I used to run ahead of my parents up the hill on 35th Ave from Suter St., to look around the corner to see if a streetcar was laying over. Guy's Drug Store was off to the right, far side intersection.

This row is still there, but now paved over as a walking/bike trail. It's also not as wide as in the picture though, in the 1960's Linda Ave, below brush to right, was widened in this area and the city took a portion of the row when they graded the hill back.
